WINHEEDCAM improves living conditions for poor and disadvantaged women and their families through health, education, and economic development. The work is community-based, relational, and focused on support that women can actually use.
History / Story
A mission that began small and kept growing through trust.
WINHEEDCAM was founded in 1997 by Dr. Munro H. Proctor and Dr. Pius Tih Muffih with seed capital of USD 3,000. What began with an early group of 69 women has grown into a long-term effort supporting women through micro-loans, savings schemes, and training in health and business skills.
